If you are thinking about owning a candy store business or already own one and you are looking to liven up your place of establishment. You need to know what type of candies are you interested in selling, wether it be exclusively for children or adults. And by the way, I am a grown-up with child like tastes. So I like mostly chocolates, candy bars such as Nestle, M&M’s, Snickers and my favorite Reeses Peanut Butter cups.
Now if you are only interested in catering to the adult clientel than you might want to consider selling wholesale hard candies, you know the types that you see in the retail stores, that are bagged. Another great item most adults like are coffee candy or espresso type candies. Well you can find a lot of wholesale candy on line to stock your shelves with.

Now that our son and daughter are old enough to go trick-or-treating with friends, Halloween has become a much more relaxing holiday in our household. With the kids out from underfoot, my wife and I take the opportunity to have a romantic, candlelit dinner alone. But that doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten about the spirit of the holiday. Anytime the front doorbell rings, we leap into action.
Reaching for the wholesale candy we’ve bought well in advance of the holiday, we welcome trick-or-treaters warmly. I remember being sorely disappointed as a kid whenever people dropped an apple or some other healthy item into my outstretched bag on Halloween. That’s why I always give kids the good stuff – the sugarcoated, chocolaty candies that I loved at that age.
Well it is coming up to that time of year again, and the Halloween gouls, goblins, witches and princesses and all the other crazy costumes new and old appear at our doors. Each child that comes to our door every year expects candy.
One of my favorites, and most children that I know of , enjoy chocolate or anything of a combination of chocolate and peanut butter, such as Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, Hersheys Kisses, Snickers, and Twix bars. Also another favorite of mine and children are the charms blow pops, you know, the ones with the gum in the center of the lollipop. Generally I would shop for these treats a couple of weeks before Halloween and go on-line and shop wholesale candy!
