I love anything with peanut butter. Wether it is peanut butter ice cream or peanut butter cookies. And since ancient times people enjoyed nuts in their cookies. The Romans would bake small cakes with crushed nuts, and it was spread through-out Europe.
The peanut originated in South America about 3,000 yrs. ago. There are ancient jars that were found featuring decorations of peanuts, and were put into the graves of the dead for the journey to the afterlife. Wholesale cookies are available on line. Their are a variety of cookies, chocolate chip, oatmeal, vanilla creme and hispanic cookies. My favorites are chocolate chip and oatmeal.
For those of us who can’t bake cookies, their is your local supermarket. When I was a kid, my Mother hardly bought any cookies. She used to make and bake them herself. At Christmas time she would make these delicious cookies from scratch and pour this syrup that she made over them. They were the most delicious cookies, this side of the Hudson River.
