Tis the season when we start to decorate and bake, from the Thanksgiving holiday to Christmas. Christmas ornaments such as glass balls, and other type of figurines are adorning our Christmas trees. They can range from three to four dollars a box to over twenty dollars a box depending upon how much glitter and materials were used in making the ornaments.
You can get them in gold, blue, red, and green. The origin of Christmas ornaments date back to Germany in the early 1800’s. The manufacturing process back then was a simple one. The men did the glassblowing, while woman did the silvering, and the children painted them and finished them. Being in the retail general merchandise business, I start out early putting Christmas products out for sale in my store generally a couple of weeks before halloween. The earlier the better. Also considering the fact that my business is located in Michigan, the cold weather will soon be upon us, and as a person from the mid-west will tell you that preparing for the holidays starts at the end of August believe it or not.
Many of out Christmas decorations for sale include such products as christmas wreaths, cristmas cards, christmas balls and many other items, and decor.
