48232Convenience Stores are a regular store that contain many household items.  Convenience Stores benefit ostensibly from ordering wholesale merchandise in bulk.  Selling items such as candy, snacks, beverages, also processed foods, and even some groceries.  Often toiletries, hygiene products are also sold.  In some parts of the United States convenience stores were  referred to as General Stores. 

In the United States some convenience stores offer counter service.  These counters or better known as delicatessen counters, may have a small menu of items that have a delivery service all day.  Some stores have a microwave oven for their customers to heat up such foods as meatball sandwiches, and, soups. Generally pre-made sandwiches are sold in convenience stores. Such products sold are candy bars, cookies, gum, toilet paper and other disposable items, such as paper towels, paper plates, paper cups, and cleaning products, just to name a few.  In certain parts of the United States maily the mid-west convenience stores are commonly called a Party Store, or referred to as the Corner Store.  In the New England States they  may even be called a variety store!
