Most of us that operate a retail dollar store are faced with the reality that dollar store sales must continue to grow. You cannot allow sales to stagnate. Advertising is the key.

You can certainly advertise on television or radio. Or in your local newspaper. But lets face it, this cost money. Be creative particularly around holidays. For example, Valentines day, you sell balloons for a dollar each, why not pair them say in groups of three or six. Now you sold three or even better six, which increased your profits, because you bundled them. To find products for your dollar store, just shop online for dollar store items wholesale.

Times have changed, in some ways for the better and in some ways not.  Take for instance opening a Dollar Store.  Just a few short years ago, all it took was putting in different types of merchandise and paying low wholesale prices.  Then selling the merchandise for one dollar.

Margins on profit have become tighter, and today Dollar Stores have become Dollar Plus Stores and Five Dollar Stores.  There are some tuff decisions to make to become successful.  Todays shoppers are informed and frugal in their purchasing.  Finding good wholesale suppliers is harder than ever.  But you can when you go online and shop for wholesale dollar store products105.

50265Popcorn is probably America’s favorite all time snack food.  Not only do we consume popcorn at the theater, but we also purchase this snack at our local grocery retail store.  It is a healthy snack, providing you don’t add  butter and salt.  Ok, I admit I put butter and a little bit of salt on mine, when I am watching my favorite television program.

It is a whole grain snack which contains fiber, an important and natural  nutrient for our digestive system.  It is consumed more than any other snack food.  Relatively inexpensive, and cost less than most other snacks.  You can purchase wholesale popcorn and other snack foods on line.
