Why is it, when the last time I went to shop for a new iron, I found a good iron, but I couldn’t find a good inexpensive ironing board cover. I mean, don’t the two of them go hand and hand, so to speak? It is like buying new shoes that don’t come with the shoe laces.
The reason for the ironing board cover is to protect your clothes as well as the ironing board. It must fit well over the ironing board, so that you can easily iron your clothes and not have the cover come off the board and bunch up under your shirts when ironing them. I consider myself a man of today and iron my own clothes. I can’t afford to have every article of clothing to be sent to the dry cleaners.
